Hi, I’m Riley. I’m a transfemme, neurodivergent mental health counselor based in Ohio, with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University. I work with people navigating questions of identity, belonging, and self-worth—especially those who feel out of sync with the dominant rhythm of the world. My own journey has involved learning to take up space in a world that often tells me to shrink, silence, or hide. As a trans and neurodivergent person, I’ve known what it’s like to fragment myself, to dim my light, and to feel invisible—and through that, I’ve also come to understand how vital it is to reclaim my full self, including all the parts others might call “too much.” This lived experience shapes how I show up in the therapy room and inspires me to create a space where you don’t have to perform or explain your way into care.

My approach is grounded in narrative therapy, which sees identity as shaped by the stories we live, inherit, and sometimes outgrow. Like characters in myth, art, or dreams, we move through cycles of transformation—wounding, becoming, and remembering who we are beneath the masks. I work well with those who’ve had to hide their magic, their sensitivity, or their truth just to be accepted. In therapy, these parts are honored, not pathologized.

I hold space for complexity, contradiction, and liminality. Healing doesn’t always follow a straight line—it can emerge through metaphor, silence, laughter, grief, and even dreams or altered states.
